Offices
Established in 1997, our offices are located on our ranch in a rural area in the Wet Mountains of southern Colorado, part of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range. We have ready access to two major airports for domestic (COS) and international (DEN) travel. While we are happy to visit you in your facility, we charge markedly reduced hourly rates for remote consultations from our offices; many of our clients have tried this and have been very satisfied. You may easily contact us by email, skype, or telephone; we do receive on our ranch FedEx and UPS next day service. USPS service is markedly slower (on the order of 7-10 days).

George M Samaras, PhD, DSc, PE, CPE, CQE, CBA
Dr. George Samaras is an electrical engineer (BSEE) with
doctorates in physiology (PhD) and industrial engineering
(DSc). In both doctorates, he minored in psychology:
biopsychology for the PhD and I/O psychology for the DSc.
He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE, licensed in
electrical/electronics engineering and licensed in software
engineering), a Board-certified human factors engineer (CPE),
and an ASQ-certified quality engineer (CQE) and biomedical
auditor (CBA). He is a Board-certified forensic engineer and a
senior member of the National Academy of Forensic
Engineers. He is a former medical school and engineering
graduate school professor, a former FDA/CDRH reviewer and
manager, and former CEO of a FDA-regulated biomedical
engineering product development firm.

Elizabeth A Samaras, DNP, RN, CPE, HEM
Dr. Elizabeth Samaras is a registered nurse (RN) and nurse
practitioner (MSN, NP) with a doctorate in nursing practice
(DNP). She was an advanced oncology certified nurse
(AOCN; ‘03-’15) with extensive experience in clinical trials,
breast health, healthcare informatics, and human factors. She
is Board-certified in ergonomics (CPE). She was on the
faculty at CSU-Pueblo teaching both graduate and
undergraduate courses, including health informatics and
evidence-based practice. She is an ECRI-certified Healthcare
Environmental Manager (HEM) with expertise in patient and
healthcare worker safety and security.
